Sanctity alone makes us what our divine vocation demands, men crucified to the world and to whom the world has been crucified, men walking in newness of life who, in the words of St. Paul, show themselves as ministers of God in labors, in vigils, in fasting, in chastity, in knowledge, in long-suffering, in kindness, in the Holy Spirit, in sincere charity, in the word of truth; men who seek only heavenly things and strive by every means to lead others to them. (Pope St. Pius X: Haerent Animo)

Wow….what a fabulous collection of pictures of such a wonderful Pope. I think it’s hard for today’s people to remember that it wasn’t that long ago that children did not receive Communioon. I pray we don’t take it so for granted.
Back before our beloved St. Joseph Sarto, people went to communion once a month at most. Hard to imagine. The other day in a faith-sharing group, a woman said, “Where on earth did the Protestants ever get the idea of communion once a month?”
I said, “from the Catholics.” and she thought I was making a joke.
What a wonderful collection of pictures you have of our patron saint. Our parish here in Manila, Philippines will be celebrating our 40th year (Ruby) Anniverssary. 40 years of serving God thru our patron saint St. Pius x.
Pray for us for the success of our celebration.
To God be all the Glory.
St. Pius X, Pray for all of us.
Boah, GREAT!!!!!
