If he gets canonized, which he should, do you know what this will mean? The Late Archbishop Lefevbre will be vindicated, since Lefevbre was Pius XII’s right hand man and even helped the late Pope write and was consulted on different encyclicals. What this will also do is shed a dark light on Paul VI and John Paul II who hated and despised Lefevbre because a canonized Pope loved Lefevbre and trusted him and consulted him.

Dave, yeah, I think your reasoning is right, which is probably why it won’t happen before they Beatify/Canonize JPII. Pius XII was the last of the old Roman Monarchal Popes, and he came from the Roman Aristocracy. They don’t like that “version” of the Church anymore. They need to “canonize” collegiality, so PXII will have to wait. Like Pio Nono too.
