Ken,
Sometimes I’d love to know where I’d could prints of these to hang around the house!
The picture without a title just after ‘Conclave’ is of Pope Benedict XIV – a really great Pope – (you can identify him from his arms) and I think it is an allegorical representation of his Encyclical ‘Ex Omnibus’ on Jansenism.
conclave is interesting.
I have exceeded bandwidth on two photobucket accts so I’m trying out webshots. Yes, indeed the price of popularity. I am thinking about just shelling out the $25 and rolling the 5 seperate photo accounts I have floating around into 1.
I hate that I have to scale back the visual on my blog. Alas, you are still my visual treat source!
The last photo reminds me that I neglected my russian art series.
Carolina, Photobucket is better than flickr, as their pictures display larger. The key to photobucket (found out too late for me) accounts is to open alot of them, and only store 40-50 pics, so the bandwidth does not go over.
Jon, you can copy the pics you like to a flickr account. They have pay $ options to have the pictures made, and mailed to you. Go here : http://www.flickr.com/do/more/
This is beautiful, the Catholic Church’s rich artistic tradition is nothing short of stunning and divine!
