Around September 2007 the “Spirit of Vatican II” caught a real bad cold. Being resilient, and believing much still was to be done, it continued it’s work, albeit in a diminished capacity. Eventually, after a bout of Acute Traditionalitis, it succumbed to this mysterious illness on September 14, 2033. These are the pictures taken (yes, from the future) of Reqiuem services held around the world in it’s honour. In the Traditional rite, ironically, as the now almost forgotten “Novus Ordo” was canonically abrogated by Pope Pius XIV in 2019 at the beginnning of the 2nd Council of Trent.

I’m sure there will be some die-hard individuals who will press for an indult to permit a “generous provision” of the “Pauline Rite”.
I would suggest 3pm on the second Sunday of the months with an “R” in them.
