That being the case – I can not understand your Catholicism – meaning that you refer to yourself as “trad” and yet you espouse non-Catholic aspects (to what exactly am I referring? – see below)
I too am a Catholic. It is unfortunate that one must state this fact with a qualifier, e.g., traditional Catholic but that is what I am. Please read the last papagraph as it is intended – not aggressive, confrontational, not sarcastic, or angry – it is written about the greatest gift man has ever received from God, the Catholic Faith through which we attain salvation.
You promote the very men that have attempted to destroy the Faith. The Faith can not be destroyed but can be minimized in terms of numbers. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is crucial but not exclusive. Benedict “giving back the Latin Mass” is not an act of retrun nor compassion. The Faith is what is crucial. Only by holding fast to the Faith (whole and inviolate) can we be saved. If you see the most recent men as popes then you have to admit that the Faith has changed. We know that this is impossible. So if the Faith can not change, someone or something or both changed. What is the change? Start with the acceptance of false religions. See in this series of acts (acceptance of non-Catholic religions), especially by John Paul and Benedict (but staged or ushered in by John XIII and Paul VI), the rejection of dogma. Contemplating the opposing dogmas (acceptance versus rejection of false religions) you will see why I am confused with your Catholic position.
As a post-script – from a Catholic (true Faith) position – you have links on the right side that are unacceptable, inappropriate, misguiding, and dangerous to the salvation of souls. Please do not blindly link but review and select that that are fundamentally Catholic.
Gary, This is a picture blog, I don’t get into controversies much. Thanks. As far as my links go, if you don’t like them don’t go to them. To start you own blog to air your ideas, go here: http://www.wordpress.com
Gary seems to be confusing doctrine with private theological opinions. Co-incidentally, the sermon I heard on Sunday was about this.
In anycase, I always enjoy the photos on here. Don’t suppose you know where the photos on this post are from? I see that the one showing the blessing of the pigs has a caption in French…
Ken, that is the Perfect response to Gary. It’s obvious he is a sedevacantist and they have been trying to start arguments and fomenting division in the Church and the blog world with a vengence of late. A word to the wise: ignore them. Don’t respond to them. Don’t argue with them. They lie like serpents and twist the truth.
Ken,
I enjoy the pictures you post.

Pretty sure the bottom 2 are from Spain.

Thanks for providing such beautiful visual testament to the catholicity of the Faith.
