The last throne is a bit too much to me.
Yeah, I agree, it’s a little too much. But, one of the few sort of “trad” pics of him though. It was either that one, or him wearing a Sioux Indian headdress.
Too much? It IS supposed to be a throne, not a chair.
A tad to Baroque, imho.
Good pics, but he still has the second worst papacy of the 20th century.
I rather prefer that traditional throne, the one Pius XII used.
